The Hon. Governor of the Northern Province, N. Vethanayahan, has appointed Dr. Jeganathan Vivekananthan, who serves as a Tourism Development Consultant, as the Chairman of the Northern Province Tourism Development Bureau.

The letter of appointment was handed over by the Governor this morning – on Monday, 29 December 2025, at the Governor’s Secretariat. The Secretary to the Governor, Mr. S. Saththiyaseelan, was also present at the event.
