Holiday for Jaffna District Schools due to Nallur Chariot Festival

The Honourable Governor of the Northern Province, Mr. N. Vethanayagan, has announced that all schools in Jaffna District will be granted a holiday tomorrow, Thursday (21.08.2025), in view of the Nallur Chariot Festival.

He has also stated that the replacement school day will be announced later.

The Governor takes to the field in person to resolve the long-standing problems of the people of Kallikkulam
